As the years rolled on the sales of the 911 remained strong but was falling short of it completion. With lower power outputs it was losing ground in the sports car market. After a revised strategy they decided to inject new life into the 911 editions. The Porsche 911 SC was introduced to the market after near termination of the series and was the first of a long line of 911s to come.
Ingenuity brought them into a new era of how the motors produce power. By adding a turbo to the motor, they were now able to run with the top dogs in the industry and at times even surpass them. Another aspect that made these vehicles so popular was the unique design of the body work.

The 911 series nearly had and early end to its existence but the SC managed to keep the 911 tradition going even up to today. Gearing down brings a few thrills to this vehicle, changing from third gear to second gear as you enter a freeway on- ramp you can feel the rear tires grip hard on the blacktop before hunkering down as the power is released. Your body is gripped by the sudden rush of g forces as it hurtles forward at a great speed.
This was raw power fitted to four wheels and two seats to keep the driver and passenger from being left behind. This was an old school design with very little features of the modern day sports car. No anti-braking system, no power steering, no traction control, none of the modern twists that are on offer today.
This entire vehicle was made for the driver, like vehicles were meant to be. For pure driving pleasure and simplistic designs this was the ultimate in styling and performance for a good price. During it's five year manufacturing the SC sold a lot of unit across the globe. There are still plenty of these models running around today and can be bought at very good prices.
Due to the number of sales compared to its predecessors it is not a collector's item, but that in turn gives all of the people who dreamt of owning a classic sports car an opportunity to own one at a good price.
